There is the most important issue between the students and professors in my school, which is the fact that China has been growing so fast it will eventually overtake Korea in every way soon, especially in economy. What affects the students directly is that the less profits major companies in my country make, the fewer jobs there will be we can apply for.

 

 

 

 

Since I’m a senior in Mechanical Engineering major it’s inevitable for me to worry about this situation. Moreover, as far as I heard, some of the leading companies in Korea such as Samsung and Hyundai started to reduce the numbers of new employees from this year.

 

 

 

 

What we can do to improve this situation is just to struggle to get a better job individually. But the biggest problem o this matter is I think some of us will not be successful doing so, which is not because of their capabilities and abilities, but because of the surroundings. I hope Korea’s economy will be in a good phase when I try to get a job.

 

 

 

우리 학교 학생과 교수들 사이에 가장 중요한 문제는 중국이 너무 빠른 속도로 성장해 머지않아 모든 면에서, 특히 경제 분야에서 한국을 앞지르게 될 것이라는 점이다. 학생들에게 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것은 우리나라의 주요 기업이 이윤을 적게 낼수록 우리가 지원할 수 있는 일자리가 적어진다는 것입니다.

 

 

 

저는 기계공학과 4학년이기 때문에 이런 상황을 걱정할 수밖에 없습니다. 게다가 제가 듣기로는 삼성, 현대 등 국내 굴지의 몇몇 기업이 올해부터 신입사원을 줄이기 시작했다고 합니다.

 

 

 

이러한 상황을 개선하기 위해 우리가 할 수 있는 일은 개인적으로 더 나은 직업을 얻기 위해 노력하는 것뿐입니다. 하지만 이 문제의 가장 큰 문제는 우리 중 일부가 성공하지 못할 것이라고 생각하는데, 이는 그들의 능력이나 능력 때문이 아니라 주변 환경 때문입니다. 제가 취업을 하게 되면 한국 경제가 좋은 국면에 들어서기를 바랍니다.
